Introduction
Construction is software for custom home builders and the homeowners they build for. This policy describes what information we collect through the product, why we collect it, and who it is shared with.
Information we collect
When a builder company signs up and a homeowner is invited to a project, we collect and store:
- Account information: name and email address, for builders and invited homeowners.
- Project data entered into the product: budgets, change orders, schedules, vendor information, documents, photos, selections, and comments.
- Activity data: a log of actions taken in the product, used for the in-app activity history and for troubleshooting.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected by our hosting provider.
Why we collect it
We use this information to operate the product: to authenticate accounts, to show each builder and homeowner the project data they are authorized to see, to send email notifications about project activity, and to maintain and secure the service.
Who it is shared with
We use a small number of subprocessors to run the service. We do not sell information collected through the product. Current subprocessors include:
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g. invitations, notifications).
